MID-TERM INTERNATIONAL CONFERENCE
WorkYP mid-term international conference is scheduled to be held on March 22, from 10.00 am to 5.00 pm in Bologna and online.
The project Working, Yet Poor (WorkYP) is focused on the increasing social trend of working people at risk or below the poverty line. The overall purpose is to effectively prevent the risk of social dumping, reduce economic shocks, and grant EU citizens, mostly those who do not circulate, regaining confidence in public governance and substantiating their citizenry’s status.
The conference will serve primarily to present the project to the interested public and to disseminate the project´s mid-term outcomes with relevant stakeholders.
The following speakers will be part of the conference: Luca Ratti (University of Luxembourg), Mijke Houwerzijl and Ane Aranguiz (Tilburg University), Giulia Marchi (University of Bologna), Marta Capesciotti (Fondazione Giacomo Brodolini), Wiemer Salverda (University of Amsterdam) and Bea Cantillon (University of Antwerp), Christina Hießl (Frankfurt University), Eleni De Becker (University of Leuven), Florence Tornincasa (EAPN), Herwig Verschueren (University of Antwerp) and David Natali (Dirpolis Institute), Andrea Brandolini (DG Economics, Statistics and Research – Bank of Italy), Andrea Lassandari (University of Bologna).
